Terms of Service

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with Kings Catering Equipment. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.


2. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse any order.
  • Cancel any order before dispatch.
  • Request additional information to verify an order.
  • Cancel any order where fraud or unauthorised payment is suspected.

An order is not considered accepted until it has been dispatched.


3. Pricing

Whilst every effort is made to ensure prices are accurate, errors may occasionally occur.

If a pricing error is identified, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT where applicable.


4. Payment

Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

Ownership of the goods remains with Kings Catering Equipment until payment has cleared in full.


5. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, manufacturers, adverse weather, customs, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • The delivery address is accurate.
  • Someone is available to receive the delivery where required.
  • Suitable access is available for delivery vehicles.

Additional delivery charges may apply if delivery fails due to incorrect information or lack of access.


6. Risk and Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery to the delivery address provided.

A signature, delivery confirmation, photograph or GPS confirmation obtained by the courier may be accepted as proof of delivery.


7. Inspection of Goods

Customers should inspect goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Any visible damage, shortages or incorrect items should be reported within 24 hours, together with photographs where possible.


8. Returns

Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Returned goods must be authorised before being sent back.


9. Product Information

Product images, colours, dimensions and specifications are provided for guidance only and may vary slightly from the actual product supplied.

Manufacturers may alter specifications without prior notice.


10. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.

Kings Catering Equipment does not provide additional warranties unless expressly stated.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kings Catering Equipment shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits.
  • Loss of business.
  • Loss of contracts.
  • Loss of goodwill.
  • Indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded.


12. Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers and business, we reserve the right to:

  • Verify customer identity.
  • Request proof of address.
  • Request additional payment verification.
  • Delay or cancel orders where fraud is suspected.

Orders may be cancelled without liability if verification cannot be satisfactorily completed.


13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, strikes, transport disruption, supplier shortages, pandemics or government action.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
